TRANSCRIPT
With a successful first year of the Rhythm and Vines
Snapchat Story already under the belt, the challenge
for Mish Guru was to continue to build on the existing
follower base, amplify the festival experience for those
attending, and create a sense of missing out for those
who weren’t.
THE CHALLENGE
SNAPCODE DESIGN
The beginning of any good Snapchat
campaign is a well designed and distinctive
Snapcode. Utilising existing brand assets,
the Mish design team were able to push the
boundaries of the Snapcode technical
specifications to create a unique focal point
for the campaign.

CHANNEL SELECTION
Cross-promotion on other social media platforms is
also integral to a successful launch strategy. We
engaged existing Rhythm & Vines social audiences
through organic and paid media to establish presence
and further grow the follower base.

Through our network of Snapchat™ influencers
and prior experience with this approach, we
advised on selection, content, and overall
strategy. Because of our well-established
relationships with other Snapchat users and
brands, we were also able to leverage such
partnerships in order to maximise credibility.
ACCOUNT LAUNCHEVENT POSTERS To gain even more awareness of the
account at the festival, we also placed
large Snapcodes at several key
locations. Not only did this increase
awareness, it decreased barriers to
adding the account by offering a
simple scan-to-add mechanic.

CONTENT CAPTURE The Mish team were on the ground at Rhythm & Vines,
creating compelling festival content from all angles and
all areas. Our relationships with festival promoters and
extensive knowledge of Snapchat storytelling meant we
could ensure total coverage of the festival, including
behind-the-scenes and VIP areas.

As well as a crew of Account Managers and
Snapchat filmmakers, our Software Developers
were on hand to provide agile solutions and
support whenever needed. This meant we
could deliver analytics directly to the R&V
media team, and easily accommodate any
changes required by the organisers.
