With the kids growing up and more space was needed for them, I used my double lottery winnings to move us to a much bigger lot. It would give us the space we needed. And I missed the ocean so it would have to be an ocean view lot, there were not many in Isla Paradiso that would fit both criteria for me, there was only one on the main island

that I knew of, and it was still vacant and for sale. I grabbed it up immediately.

Borah had just become a YA before we moved, she now had full command of her vampire powers and was looking forward to exploring them. She is the spitting image of Joanie, I often forget who’s who if they’re both next to each other. It happens, if not

for their colours I’d never tell them apart.

Joanie: She looks exactly like me…

“I know, she’s beautiful just like you my love.”

Borah grew up and added Diva to her list of traits. She moved out and fell in love with one of the local Paps, Julius Hubbard who happens to also be a werewolf, the only one in

Isla Paradiso. I heard she got a job at the Science Center soon after she moved out.

Oriana was now the oldest in the house, although this is the first time I’ve seen her or anyone use the sand box. I will miss this house when we move, all my kids were raised

here and I loved the colours on the outside.

Winter has finally come to Isla Paradiso, an unusual amount of cold air has blown in and caused snow. This is our new house with the ocean view, I am very proud of this place and how wonderful it looks. I especially love the green space in the center of the

house. It’s our own private garden where we can relax and enjoy nature.

A large, central room serves many purposes; it’s our family room, library, Plumbot Building station, the Time Machine’s home and the elevator down to the basement. It also has the entrance to the central garden. Above we have the Skilling Room, as I call it, the much larger kitchen, two of the four bedrooms and another skilling room with an All-In-One bathroom for those moments

at the inventing table for when the blowtorch gets a little too close to our clothes for comfort.

The backyard has a nice, large deck that overlooks the pond, our hot tub and telescope for watching those stars across the water. My garden which has been expanded significantly from before and the kids’ playground equipment. The pond is great for ice skating and we all love to use it. As much as I loved the colours on the other house, I think this turquoise siding matches the colour of the ocean

water perfectly.

The other side of the house has the office, Joanie’s secret room, two full bathrooms, a powder room and the other two bedrooms. The garage is for my sports car and where I put my boat.

Yes, I have a boat. I’ve been exploring the islands around here and my speedboat is very useful for getting to them. We live practically right on the water so I don’t need to pull it

far to reach the beach to launch my boat.

The garden in the center of the house, it has four lounge chairs and a tranquility fountain. Not very good in the winter but in the summer it’s amazing to sit out there

and enjoy the nature.

And lastly, the basement. It’s filled with rooms that will house treasures from the travels I would love to start taking. And if I don’t get around to it, I know my kids and

grandkids will. I will wait and see what kinds of treasure this place will hold.

Oriana had her teen birthday in the new house. She was excited to finally see what high school was all about. Perhaps even find the love of her life, she knows that she’s the

next heiress so finding her love is all she’s been talking about recently. I’m glad she’s really taken to this heirship thing.

Orion: When is it my turn daddy?

“Soon son, then you can join your sister in high school.”

Orion: But I want to go now, I’ll be all alone in elementary school…

“That’s my girl!”

Oriana: When I can I travel? I have the Adventurous bug now.

“Unfortunately, you’re still too young to travel alone. But you will soon enough. I promise.”

Oriana found other ways to have adventures, she was making use of the time machine as often as she could. This time she traveled into the primordial past and came back

looking like a cave girl. She went even father back than her mother and I did.

When she wasn’t time traveling, she was out fishing. Oriana never liked to sit still for long and now that she was a teenager she could go a lot more places that she wasn’t able

to as a child.

She’s even been begging for boating lessons. We have so many islands around here that she’s drawn to explore them. I am tempted to give them to her, my boat should get some

use so it doesn’t seize up while in the trailer. Someone should make better use of my boat, I have but it’s not nearly enough. I hope Oriana will get more use out of it than I

do.

When she’s not eating magic jellybeans, she’s been seeing a young boy named Jasen. He’s her first teenage love so I am skeptical that he’ll be the one she stays with. But for

now I’m glad she’s happy with him, Jasen seems like a nice young man who isn’t intimidated by her vampire mother or walking plant father.

As long as he treats my baby girl right, I won’t have to go all over-protective dad on the poor boy. One day when she has children of her own she’ll understand how I feel. Until

then of course, I have my profession as a Magician to work on. I want to be a Master before I turn old and grey. So I guess I’d better get going then huh?
