The digital progressive process - Lens Design Software (LDS) receives all the necessary information from the (LMS) Optuitive. Prescription, wrap, tilt, and frame parameters are taken into account to calculate the customized surface which adapts best to the data received, creating a lens that is optimized for every wearer. After the calculation , the LDS sends the Digital surface file back to Optuitive(LMS), which will send the information to the Satis - Loh machines that will finish the final process.

The digital progressive process - Lens Design Software (LDS) receives all the necessary information from the (LMS) Optuitive. Prescription, wrap, tilt, and frame parameters are taken into account to calculate the customized surface which adapts best to the data received, creating a lens that is optimized for every wearer. After the calculation , the LDS sends the Digital surface file back to Optuitive(LMS), which will send the information to the Satis - Loh machines that will finish the final process. In today’s market, the
optical industry has gone through major changes in the way a prescription lens is manufactured. Basically, three processes are being used to calculate lens manufacturing, the difference varies greatly from conventional methods. RgvO is proud to offer the most flexible solution with the possibility to access all different product levels. RgvO only uses the latest in calculation technologies and no longer employs conventional calculation.

Conventional Progressive Lens
Conventional technology progressive lens are made using a blank where the
progressive design is located on the front side.
The distance single vision power is cut on the back side
of the lens to provide lens with the required power. This
method has limited options and severe limitations.
Static designs
Digital Progressive Lens
Digital technology is only available using digital surfacing equipment. Progressives lenses
made of this technology are characterized by having the
progressive design surfaced on the back side using a simple spherical curve on the front
side. The progressive surface is calculated using a Lens Design System (LDS) that gives a more
robust progressive using the most modern calculation.

Pure digital technology is the state-of-the art technology based on an accurate simulation of the eye-lens model. Lenses(because the model is fully binocular) are considered in its full complexity. They can have prism, pantoscopic tilt,wrapping angle, any frame shape, and can be located at any distance from the eye. Pure digital will manage back and front surfaces, not just spherical, torical or standard aspherical or atorical surfaces. For every lens design, each gaze direction is simulated at the distance it will be focusing in the real world. Rays will come from any point of the object space into the retina of the eye. Skew rays are possible, and finite size pupils are considered. Finally, image quality is computed by means of an imaging model taking into account eye and lens characteristics. This type of lens designs represents the highest optical quality and advanced technology in the market. Lenses produced with this technology are top quality products, with complete personalization.

R & D does not stop at using digital technology for increased precision in design transfer to our lenses. 2. Access the Spectacle Lens Ordering ServiceOnce you’ve logged in select “Rx Lens” from the Order Now Section. Select to place a New Order

4. Select Job Type and Lens OptionsSelect job type and lens type for order. Eyetopia special pricing is marked Eyetopia next to the product.

Due to the special location of mirrors and digital devices, power distribution has been specially conceived to allow wearers to drive without unnecessary head movements, mirrors are located inside an astigmatism free zone, and dynamic vision has been also improved reducing astigmatism lobes to a minimum.
Driving is a task that has very specific optical requirements, the position of the dashboard, external and internal mirrors and the strong distance jump between looking at the road or looking inside the car makes this scenario very particular.Polara D progressive has been developed to adapt the lens for this specific task. Non-Electronic OrdersWe accept phone and fax orders. All phone orders are read back at the time of the order is received to ensure accuracy. For faxed orders, make sure they are in dark ink and legible.
Rx CancellationsOrders cancelled before processing will not incur any charges. Orders cancelled after pro-cessing has begun will be billed at 50% of full invoice value.
Stock Lens Return PolicyCredits will be issued upon receipt of original lenses within 90 days from original invoice. Returned lenses are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Past Due StatusAccounts over 30 days past due are levied a 1.5% finance charge monthly. Accounts 60 days or more past due will be placed on hold and are not eligible for credits, discounts, promo-tions, or incentives and will not have use of warranties until the account is current.
Shipping & Handling PolicyAll invoices will have a $1.95 charge for shipping and handling (subject to fuel surcharge adjustments) per job. Special shipping requirements (overnight, courier) will be charged the actual shipping cost.
Rgv Optics assumes full responsibility for all eyewear shipped from our lab. We cannot be held responsible for anything shipped to us which is damaged, or not received. Price lists are subject to change without notice and orders accepted are subject to prevailing price, terms, and conditions at the time of shipment.

Warranty & Replacement
Progressive WarrantyFor Ideal Advance, Ideal Advance Wrap and RgvO Digital progressives, we provide a one-time remake for the period of 365 days after the original invoice date on the same progressive lens. Replacement orders must be the original Rx and in the original frame within the warranty pe-riod. Progressive Non-Adapt Warranty.
For non-adapt on Ideal, Ideal Advance, and RgvO Digital progressives, we provide a one-time remake for the period of 90 days after the original invoice date on the same progressive lens. All other progressives receive a 30-day warranty after the original invoice date.
Anti-Reflective WarrantyOur Crizal Easy Uv and AR-24 Plus, coatings receive 365 day warranty from the date of the original invoice under wear and tear conditions. One year or one time replacement. Our pre-mium Crizal Alize UV and Avance UV coatings carry a two year or one time replacement. Re-placement orders must be the original RX and in the original frame within the warranty period. A/R -15 has no warranty
Drill Mount WarrantyDrilled, grooved or rimless lenses will be replaced for cracking or starring as follows: Hi-Index 1.67, Trivex or Polycarbonate: 90 days; CR39 and 1.60, 1.74 no warranty is provided.
Lab Error ReplacementIf processed lenses are found to be outside the ANSI standards within 30 days of the original in-voice or contain a cosmetic defect, replacement lenses will be provided on a priority basis upon receipt of the original lenses at no extra cost.
Doctor Supplied Lenses or Patient’s Own FrameWe do not accept responsibility or liability for either frames or lenses supplied by the patient or doctor, including loss, damage, or processing error.
Scratch WarrantyIf lens does not carry a manufacturers warranty, customer may purchase RgvO scratch warranty ($6.00) to receive a one time replacement for lens scratches under normal patient use in the origi-nal frame with original prescription within 1 year of the original order.
