• The System • The Proposed Lexiwave Mobile Health Monitoring System (Lexi Mhealth) is a

state-of-the-art Remote Health Monitoring System to keep track of your elderly family members or the loved ones who simply need monitoring. The system can identify the person’s location as well as their body vital signals. The system consists of a Smartwatch and a cloud server. The Smartwatch collects health parameters of the user periodically and sends to the cloud server for remote health and well-being monitoring

• The server will be a cloud-based system consists of the authentication, database, web and parse/commander. It can store the uploading data to provide more than 10,000 user’s traffic flow without interruption. It also processes, analyzes the location and vital data and provide alert to healthcare provider, family members or law enforcement authority for emergency support

• The Tracking Smartwatch • The Smartwatch equips with two state-of-the-art locating methods to find the user’s

location precisely. In out-door environment, the tracker will use GPS method to acquire the satellite signals from the sky to locate its position. This approach offers the best accuracy of 10 meters.

• When the tracker is in-door or in busy cities where satellite signals are blocked by high-rise buildings, the watch will use an optional advanced cellular network-based approach to find the device within 30 to 50 meters accuracy.

• The tracker will automatically select the locating methods in the priority of GPS and

cellular network-based if they are available

The Server

Our tracker will periodically send location, battery and alert information to our

cloud server through 3G cellular network with TCP/IP connection. Our

server also exchanges critical information i.e. alerts with the

tracker through the same connection. Our server is a cloud-based system

consists of the authentication, database, web and

parse/commander servers to provide more than 10,000 user’s traffic flow without interruption. The system is

also scalable to accommodate higher traffic flow.

Data will also be backed up automatically by redundant memory devices to protect against accidental

data loss

Web Interface

• Our web interface will be user-friendly and very easy to use. Once the users/administrators login the system, they navigate to different webpages for monitoring or set-up purposes: • Device Manager

• Device-related data, type of watch with picture, current location and address will be displayed on this page

• Geo-fencing • User can draw a polygon on the map as a fencing area. Once the

fence is breached by the watch, alert will be displayed online or sent through SMS or email.

• Monitor • User can monitor one set of watches through the monitoring page.

The trail of the actual current movement can be shown in real-time. Smartphone application software is also available for easy and convenient monitoring.

• Report & Track play • Our server can keep the history of the watch for up to three months.

Users can replay the route along which the watch has moved with a specified time span. The trace history can also be reported in a tabular form online or downloaded as an Excel file.
