When a fast and simple evaluation of RF emissions and inter-ference impacts is required during development of a product, in-house solutions from Telemeter Electronic offer many advantages. Telemeter has developed modular concepts and summarized them in this brochure.
Having EMC measurements performed by external service providers is typically expensive and time-consuming. Customized solutions are a cost-effective alternative for pre-compliance and development support measurements.
Our measurement solutions are tailored to the specific customer requirements using a broad range of variable elements. Numerous design options are available for this purpose and are described in more detailed on the follow pages.

Mobile measurement chamber, Series MMK
The MMK type measurement chamber was developed to allow fast and flexible measurements and iterative product optimization during thedevelopment process, with the smallest possible footprint. This eliminates the need for time-consuming and expensive measurements at external service providers.
The frame is made up of durable aluminium profiles and provides a lot leeway in order to allow for flexible and customer-specific adaptations.The measurement chamber can be designed for various frequency bandwidths over a range of 100 kHz to over 80 GHz.

Technical data
Frequency 100 kHz to over 80 GHz by using tunedshielding and absorber elements.
Dimensions Sizes in 20 cm increments starting from 80 x 80 x 100 cm up to 120 x 120 x 200 cm.For lengths over 2 m, the measurement chamber is composed out of two or more connected chamber sections, which are detachable from one another.
Reflexion Dependent on the frequency range, customersupression specific requirements and the resulting
absorbers selected to cover the wall of the measurement chamber.
Shielding The shielding effectiveness in the vicinity ofeffectiveness the measurement chamber wall is about
80 to 90 dB between 700 MHz and 2.4 GHz,as shown in the figure to the right. The shielding effectiveness values are lowerin the door area by about 10 dB.
Variation Possibilities
The versions below can be selected from an extensive range of modules.
Versions Horizontal or vertical design / single- or multi-segment setups.
Designs Stationary or mobile. With base or as desktop model.Variable lengths can be implemented by connecting various chamber elements (end pieces and tunnel sections). The tunnel element can be converted to anend piece or standalone measurement chamber by installing the door.

Power supply: XLR connector (small signals 12 / 24 V DC), power supply for 230V DC, separate grounding connections for HF shielding and the aluminium frame. Additional interfaces not listed here, universal feed throughs and HF filters upon request.
Shielding With or without shielding. Shielding is ideallyimplemented as copper cladding with athickness of up to 0.04 mm (according to the frequency requirements) which is finished to be RF tight. The housing and inner shielding are equipped with separateground connections.
Reflection With or without absorbers. Depending onsupression the frequency requirements, various absorber
types suchs as multi-layer flat absorbers, foam pyramid absorbers, polystyrene absorbers, ferrite tiles or a combination of absorbers can be selected.
