Happy birthday,
Cáncer! You are friendly and depend-
able in your personal and
professional lives. These
are qualities that draw peo-
ple to you.
Taurus: Don’t pay too much at-
tention to what you hear from
others about financial trends.
With your love of luxury and in-
terest in money matters, you
probably know as much, if not
more, about the market. In to-
day’s world, a tap of the key-
board can get you all the infor-
mation you need on the subject.
Aries: The sun is moving in-
to your solar second house,
and this could bring up es-
teem issues, especially if
you feel unworthy of what
you want. Use this weekend
to gauge how secure you are
financially.
Geminis: This weekend, when
the all-powerful sun transits
to your sign, beginning your
next 12-month solar cycle,
it’s a good time to reassess
life. Evaluate your goals,
sever toxic relationships and
surround yourself with posi-
tive people who seek to live
to the fullest.
Leo. July will be a big month for
you. Both the sun and Jupiter
move to your sign, making it an
ideal time to figure out your
goals for the year. Your sixth
sense is heightened as the sun
moves to your solar 12th house.
4
Virgo. If someone close needs
advice on an important issue,
don’t blow them off. Give the
problem close attention. Other-
wise, your opportunity to help
and mentor will be lost. Remem-
ber, there is such a thing as
karma, and you don’t want to
mess with it.
Libra. If you’re frustrated
this weekend because a situa-
tion isn’t to your liking,
don’t lash out at someone in-
nocent. Gather the facts and
decide your next step; it could
be a life-changer, especially
if it concerns a business deal.
Scorpio. Travel and foreign
affairs are emphasized, and if
you have a chance to do ei-
ther, you’ll want to be
ready. Try to be flexible.
Life rarely stays the same,
and you’ll be left behind if
you don’t let go of the old.
Embrace change. You might get
a big surprise!
Sagittarius. The sun moves to
your solar eighth house and
brings a fiscal matter to a
satisfactory resolution. If you
need to clear the air with
someone close, an opportunity
could come this weekend, but
you may need to initiate it. Do
what feels right; otherwise,
there could be unsettled energy
between you.
Capricorn. It’s the weekend, and the
sun moves to your seventh house, the
area of relationships, highlighting
your personal life. Make time for
friends and loved ones. Much planetary
activity affects your sign now. Ignore
inappropriate comments; it’s not your
problem.
5
Aquarius. Regardless of whether
your values have changed and you
are on a different path now, try
to stay on top of developments
that would have affected you be-
fore. Nothing is set in stone.
This weekend, reexamine your
goals. With a different course,
you may need to alter plans to
accommodate these changes.
Piscis. Do some reflection this
weekend. Take time to consider your
wants, needs and aspirations. Once
you do and learn to accept yourself
for who you are, you can more easi-
ly accept others, no matter how
different. The secret to real hap-
piness is being comfortable in your
own skin.

most recent chang-
es in the magnetic
field that pro-
tects our planet.
Launched in November 2013, Swarm is providing
unprecedented insights into the complex work-
ings of Earth's magnetic field, which safe-
guards us from the bombarding cosmic radiation
and charged particles. Measurements made over
the past six months confirm the general trend
of the field's weakening, with the most dra-
matic declines over the Western Hemisphere.

The Museum of Modern Art presents a major retrospective
devoted to the art of Lygia Clark (Brazilian, 1920 –
1988), the first comprehensive exhibi-
tion in North America of her work. Lygia Clark: The Abandonment of Art, 1948 –1988 comprises nearly 300 works made be-tween the late 1940s and her death in
1988. Drawn from public and private col-
lections, including MoMA’s own, this
survey is organized around three key
themes: abstraction, Neo-Concretism, and
the “abandonment” of art. Each of these axes anchors a
significant concept or a constellation of works that mark
a definitive step in Clark’s career.
Lygia Clark: The Abandonment of
Art,
While Clark’s legacy in Brazil is profound, this exhibi-
tion draws international attention to her work. By bring-
ing together all parts of her radical production, the ex-
hibition seeks to reintroduce her into current discourses
of abstraction, participation, and a therapeutic art
practice.
Museum facilitators will be present
in the galleries to help visitors ex-
perience of a selection of Clark’s
"sensorial objects."
8
Lygia Clark (1920 –1988) trained
in Rio de Janeiro and Paris from
late 1940s to mid-1950s and was a
leading abstract artist at the
forefront of the Neo-Concretist
movement in Brazil, fostering the
active participation of specta-
tors through her works. From the
late 1960s through the 1970s she
created a series of unconventional artworks in paral-
lel to a lengthy psychoanalytic therapy, leading her
to develop a series of therapeutic propositions
grounded in art. Clark has become a major reference
for contemporary artists dealing with the limits of
conventional forms of art.

The secret of how salamanders successfully regrow body
parts is being unraveled by researchers in a bid to apply
it to humans. For the first time, researchers have found
that the 'ERK pathway' must be constantly active for sal-
amander cells to be reprogrammed, and hence able to con-
tribute to the regeneration of different body parts.
Limb regeneration:
Do salamanders hold the key?

Fetal dopamine cells
transplanted into the
brains of patients with
Parkinson's disease were
able to remain healthy and
functional for up to 14
years, a finding that
could lead to new and bet-
ter therapies for the ill-
ness, researchers report.
The researchers looked at the brains of five patients who
got fetal cell transplants over a period of 14 years and
found that their dopamine transporters (DAT), proteins
that pump the neurotransmitter dopamine, and mitochondria
were still healthy at the time the patients died, in each
case of causes other than Parkinson's.
