A. Refer to Vendor Return Packet:

1. Delete PROPOSAL FORM in its entirety. Replace with new PROPOSAL FORM.

B. Section 02100 School Operations Parameters Statement, Part 1.01, Paragraph C, delete in its entirety. Replace with new Paragraph C as follows.

Weekend and Holiday Access. All work in this bid package may be performed at any time during a normal work week. Any requirement by the Contractor to enter areas of the school on weekends or holidays shall be approved in advance by BISD and shall be coordinated through the school principal’s office since it will require BISD school staff to be present to unlock doors, provide access to mechanical and equipment rooms, etc. The Contractor will incur and will need to budget for overtime costs ($35/hr) for BISD Staff presence at the school site on weekends and holidays. This cost shall be included in the proposal price. The contractor submit a written request for weekend or holiday access to the Owner at least two (2) working days prior to the needed access date. Contractor shall submit copies of a detailed log that will track all hours worked during this period and will submit the log to the Owner on a weekly basis for review and approval. BISD will recover from the Contractor any and all overtime costs based on the actual wage rates involving District personnel. BISD shall seek reimbursement from the Contractor via a deductive change order to the contract at a point during the project to be determined by the Owner.

C. Section 15700 Direct Expansion (DX), Air Cooled, Variable Capacity, Split System, Part 2.03, Add the following

Paragraph B. as follows.

1. All field personnel installing any components of the Direct Expansion (DX), Air Cooled, Variable Capacity, Split System to be factory trained by Daikin. Contractor to submit Daikin Factory Training Certificates of installing personnel prior to starting installation. Systems that are installed by non-certified personnel will be subject to removal and replacement at the contractor’s expense.

D. Section 15880 Piping Closed Loop Geothermal Heat Pump System, Part 1.02, Paragraph B, delete in it’s entirety.

furnish labor, material, tools, transportation, insurance, permits, and all incidentals necessary for the

completion of the subject project, in accordance with the specifications and plans included in this

proposal package.
