Tally must decide what matters most to her: physical beauty or inner beauty. Throughout her travels, she meets many people with varying opinions of what is considered attractive. Ultimately, Tally decides to see the value of inner beauty after traveling to the Smoke. The Pretties think everyone has to be a standard of pretty whereas the Uglies in the Smoke believe you are fine the way you are.
