Amy Kean, VocalsAmy began singing at age seven, and hasn’t looked back since! She has been a lead singer with a local jazz orchestra and several other DC area small ensembles.

Dave Tucker, PianoA nat iona l l y renowned ragtime/stride pianist, Dave Tucker ha s p l ayed a t numerous ragtime festivals across the country. In the spring of 2006 he helped form Reverie.

Terry Kean, BassTerr y i s an accompl i shed guitarist and bassist, and lends his bass guitar skills to Reverie Jazz Ensemble.

Emily Lloyd, ClarinetHaving studied music since midd le schoo l , Emi l y graduated with a degree in Music Education and enjoys playing in Reverie.

Eric Lloyd, SaxophonesSaxophonist Eric Lloyd has studied jazz saxophone s ince h igh school , and enjoys adding his skills to the Reverie ensemble.

Reverie, a Jazz trio or five-person ensemble, performs early jazz standards

and forgotten favorites in a style reminiscent of a bygone  era,  while

bringing back the great melodies and emotion exemplified by the great jazz

and blues music of the 1930's, 1940's and ear l y 1950 's .  Some of Re ver ie ’s

inf luences are Bi l l y Hol iday, El la Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Rosemary Clooney,

Fats Waller and many others from the pre-Bebop time period.  The group

features Amy Kean (vocals),  Dave Tucker (piano), Terry Kean (bass guitar),

Eric Lloyd (saxes) and Emily Lloyd (Clarinet).

Based in Northern Virginia, Reverie is available to perform at outdoor venues, restaurants & clubs, music festivals, private parties, receptions, corporate events and all sorts of special events
