Revelation 6 - "The Counterfeit Kingdom"

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven...

Jesus is the King that will come from above... His second coming from heaven to establish His throne and His kingdom here on earth - to rule and reign for 1,000 years on the earth and forever in His kingdom in the new heavens and the new earth... It is an everlasting kingdom!!

V1-2 - The kingdom of the Antichrist1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

The Coming Prince - to rule the world - setting up the kingdom of the counterfeit messiah...

[Col 1:13 KJV] 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:[Mat 4:8-11 KJV] 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.[Jhn 18:36 KJV] 36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.[Rev 11:15 KJV] 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

understanding what is coming...the world leader - the "Antichrist" - will confirm the covenant with Israel for 7 years - corresponding to the 70th week of Daniel - he will conquer the world and rule as "Satan's own" on the throne of this world...this is God's judgment upon the earththis king will arise from the earth - out of the "sea" of the peoples of this world

[Rev 13:1 KJV] 1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

V3-4 - War on the Earth3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another horse [that was] red: and [power] was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

War - there was given unto him a great sword - take peace from the earth

[Mat 24:6 KJV] 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns. 8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. ... 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

[Rev 13:2-8 KJV] 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Learn war anymore?[Isa 2:2-5 KJV] 2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, [that] the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. 5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.this is not the kingdom of Jesus Christ in His Reign of 1,000 years...this is God's judgment upon the earth

There will be great war upon the earth - in the kingdom of the Beast...

V5-6 - Hunger in the Earth5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Food by measure - "bread"

Jesus is the "Bread of Life" (John 6:35)

[Mat 24:7-8 KJV] 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.

death by famine and starvation...a penny - days wages for a loaf of bread yet, the wealthy will have their "riches"this is God's judgment upon the earth - that mankind will suffer and die greatly because of lack of food in the kingdom of Satan...

V7-8 - death and hell7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Jesus is the "Prince of Life" (Acts 3:15)

There will be great death upon the earth - in the kingdom of the Beast...

V9 - 11 - the martyrs - death of the saints of God9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they [were], should be fulfilled.

5th seal - the souls of those martyred for their testimony of Jesus and the word of God

There will be great famine upon the earth - in the kingdom of the Beast...

authority to take 2 billion lives off the earth...death and hell - to kill (war, famine, and beasts)who should live and who should die? this is God's judgment upon the earth - in the forming of the kingdom of the "Instead of" christ" - many will die

That these souls were under the altar emphasizes that their life blood was poured out as an offering to God. The idea is drawn from Leviticus 4:7: And he shall pour the remaining blood at the base of the altar of the burnt offering.the blood cries out for vengeance - like Abel's blood...the cry for the judgment of God upon them that dwell on the earth - who have killed those of faith in Jesusthis is God's judgment upon the earth the coming vengeance upon all those who shed the blood of the

There will be many martyred upon the earth - in the kingdom of the Beast...

V12-17 - the Great day of God's Wrath12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

This prophecy in Revelation - 6th seal - reveals the wrath of God upon the "Christ Rejecting" world...

Our Application:

this is God's judgment upon the earth - the coming vengeance upon all those who shed the blood of the saints of God

[Isa 13:9-10 KJV] 9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.[Joe 2:10, 30-31 KJV] 10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: ... 30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.[Joe 3:15 KJV] 15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.[Mat 24:29 KJV] 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

there is a day of the LORD - when this earth will experience cosmic shaking - that only God could do...it will come upon all men that "dwell upon the earth"there will be great fear... desiring to hide from God's wrath this is God's judgment upon the earth - the judgment upon the world - shaking the earth - moving everything out of place

we are NOTW - Not Of This World - live as children of God1.
