In order to achieve this new approach, Teranov has teamed up with KIDOVA, a consulting firm specialized in providing solutions for reservoir characterization and geostatistics, reservoir engineering, naturally fractured reservoir characte-rization and modelling.

GEOTREF is a program led by Teranov and sponsored by the French Government funding program “Investments for the Future”. It uses characterization and reservoir modeling tools originally developed for the Oil&Gas Naturally Fractured Résevoir upstream sector and expands them to geothermal fields. Objectives of the program : achieve a better reservoir management and reduce geological risks.
ALTIPLANO (BOLIVIA)
Using the existing surface exploration and exploratory well datas, reservoir modelling studies are being implemented for the benefit of ENDE (Bolivian national electricity com-pany). Studies also include basic design of above surface facilities.
VIEUX HABITANTS (GUADELOUPE)
Close to the only existing geothermal power plant in the Caribbean, this site has been selected to test the tools developed by the GEOTREF consortium. Started in 2015 with surface investigations, studies will lead to the drilling of exploratory wells.
MOUNT LIAMUIGA (ST KITTS)
Through a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) Teranov is engaged with the Government of the Federation of St Kitts & Nevis in the de-velopment of a geothermal field, to cover the island electrical demand through geothermal production.
This innovative methodology is currently illustrated by 3 projects, with estimated reservoir potentials from 10 to 100 MW:
