Rev. Raymond C. Needham became pastor of LawndaleBaptist Church in 1961, coming from Deep Springs BaptistChurch in the Dan Valley Association. He is a graduate ofGardner-Webb and Wake Forest Colleges and SoutheasternSeminary and has completed the course in Pastoral Care atthe Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.

Rev. Needham is married to the former Miss LindaHudspeth, a graduate of Meredith College. They have twochildren, Aaron (8) and Mirian (3). Both Rev. and Mrs.Needham are native North Carolinians.

Since corning to the association, Rev. Needham has beenactive in all phases of the work of the association. Duringthe past year "Rev. Needham has served as chairman of acommittee which has successfully organized a class for pastorsin the Seminary Extension Program. He continues to headthis committee and is also involved in other associationalduties. __
