Russia Certification Programme Sender Requirements eturn Path Certification: Early Activation The Global Leader in Email Intelligence Certification Programme Requirements for Russian Senders REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION Entity Check Applicant must be in business and operational for a minimum of 1 year. Any other companies, brands, etc. set up under that legally registered business name must be operational for at least 6 months before applying. Applicants must be in the top 1,000 ranked sites in Russia (www.alexa.com) or be a well- known, recognized brand. No applicant may be associated in any way with spamming orgs, malware/adware/spyware, or any type of fraud or internet crime. Business types NOT eligible for the programme: Email Service Providers (ESPs), Hosting companies, agencies, gambling/online wagering, pornography, or online dating companies. Dedicated IPs Applicant should be the only entity sending over the IP(s) being reviewed, and must be sending off of the IP address(es) for at least 90 days. Minimum Message Volumes Minimum of 5,000,000 emails per calendar month. Reverse DNS All IPs must have reverse DNS correctly configured. Applicants can test their record at this unaffiliated site: http://www.dnsstuff.com/ Sender ID Compliant SPF Records Applicants are required to have Sender ID Compliant SPF Records published for all Return- Path domains associated with the IP addresses being certified. Records using “+all”, “?all” or that have a PTR directive are not considered compliant with the Standard. FBL sign up We require all applicants to be signed up for and processing complaints for the Mail.ru Feedback Loop. Whois Information Check WhoIs information must reflect current data in which the applicant is clearly identified. Note: The use of Privacy Services, Hosting Companies, PO Boxes or listing domains by Proxy is not allowed. abuse@ and postmaster@ Address Testing / Functional Abuse@ and Postmaster@ addresses for each sending domain must be functional. COMPLIANCE METRICS THRESHOLD GUIDELINES Mail.ru - Inbox Complaint Rate (30 Day Average) < 0.3% Unknown User Rate < 0.50% Blacklists 1 Critical Listing / 2 Significant Listings Spam Traps (30 Day Cumulative) 3 Critical Trap Hits / 5 Significant Trap Hits RP Trap Network 1 and 2 (30 Day Cumulative) 100 Trap Hits Note: All metrics are averaged and totaled (as applicable) based on data collected over the previous 30 day period. This accounts for daily variation in the data while capturing recent trends. Any data metric greater than or equal to these thresholds will be considered out of compliance with Certified Level Standards.
