Sight and Sound

I feel sight and sound would be perfect for my film because it is a massive worldwide read magazine. It does reviews of films of every budget and every

genre, meaning its audience is absolutely gigantic. This would benefit my product massively, letting a bigger and more interested audience read about my film, hopefully making them consider giving it a watch. The reason i say

interested audience is because its okay to put an advertisement out on TV or any magazines, but putting a review in a film review magazine means people

want to read about this kind of stuff.

A publication in sight and sound would benefit my product by maximising the overall profit. Also, if people like what they are reading about, they are not just going to read about it, watch it then not say anything, they will read about it,

tell their friends, watch it and tell their friends again.

Sight and Sound have published reviews about many other thrillers before, including recent ones such as The girl with the Dragon Tattoo and older ones such as Enemy of the State, so not only do i think my product will appeal to

fans of those films, I think with sight and sounds help, i can get closer to those people, personally appealing to them to watch my film and write reviews

about it and tell their friends

Retire The Runner.

Retire the runner is a compelling film with many twists and enigmas. Throughout the film you are led to believe that different characters are the protagonists and antagonists, sometimes the same characters are in line for

both!

For the duration of the film, the contents of the bag are unknown to the audience, and the focus of the film is always set on the bag. We are forced to ask many questions like Why are so many people after this bag? Why can no one simply open it? These questions are frustratingly asked and as the film

carry’s on, we all find ourselves dying to find out what’s in the bag, even if we didn’t like the film so far.

The opening sequence of the film starts off quite dull. I mean, its just a man taking a walk through a park isn’t it? Wrong. One minute later and there’s a

guy dead on the floor with another guy walking off with what we presume was his bag.

The man is killed in quite a visible place, in a couple of shots you can see the roads! So we wonder, why does a man kill another in broad daylight in a visible place, just to take his bag? Well the same happens to the murderer, someone kills him just for the bag! No one even opens the bag for the entire film! How

do they even know that what they are trying to protect or steal is even in there? We don’t know!

We predict the film as a whole to be a hit, Maybe not at first as the film will only appeal to a certain few from its cover and its opening sequence, and the fact it has no major names in it, but sooner or later everyone will love Retire

the Runner!
