Lisa Paquette Yee, Lead Designer for Resourceful ReDesigns smiles as she recalls an early

design idea: “I thought my Mom’s salads could use a little more appeal so I ‘helpfully’

suggested she cut the veggies into shapes! I don’t recall it going over well.” Yes, even in

childhood, Lisa had designer tendencies.

Now, you won’t find Lisa suggesting the design equivalent of radish stars in salads.

However, you will still find her fun, likeable and chock-full of resourceful ideas that will

engage your imagination and get you enthusiastic about your project.

With a strong value for history and homes, Lisa is passionate about helping people create

authentic spaces that tread lightly on the earth and deeply in hearts. A “peaceful warrior”,

Living her passion for re-design and home staging, Lisa has personally owned and

decorated a broad variety of homes:

Diva®. Lisa also brings an extensive background in Human Resources and business to the table, making her one of those

Resourceful ReDesigns was brought in to

phase out this "office" and bring in fun and

vibrancy better suited to a 6-year old.

Purple and orange accents create a more

playful theme. The silver/purple desk was a

dumpster-find that our room owner had

her mom drag home. Her 8-year old sister

transformed it with the help of Resourceful

ReDesigns. The mirror on the wall was

rescued from a second hand store and

also repainted by her sister as a surprise.

This space had become a junk magnet yet

it was an ideal candidate for repurposing as

a "mud room". Fresh white trim and a

painted blue wainscot with silver metalwork

overlay creates a fresh, highly functional

system for corralling gear. The existing

furniture was stacked and relocated to

create more floor space and allow for

installation of additional coat racks.

Luxe touches cozy up this bathroom on a

tight budget. The existing light fixture was

updated with fabric shades. The shower

rod looks good as new with a polish and

flip to show its best side. Even the feet of

the tub got a little glam with bronze leafing.

The bronze ceiling is inspired by vintage tin

tiles but is a simpler pattern suited to this

small space. Dentil crown moulding and a

new rug are the natural finishing touches

that pull it all together.
