Concrete Filling Requirements

For 4 cm high grid, 8 cm. thick concrete (covering of steel, 2 cm on each side).

For 8 cm high grid, 12 to 14 cm thick concrete (covering of steel, 2 to 3 cm on each side).

Narrow Steep Sides

Retem is highly flexible. This allows the building of narrow water works in rural areas.

River Bank Protection 3D steel grid flexibility allows to build

reinforcement belts as an integral Part of the construction by folding the grid.

Used with anchors and projected concrete, 3D web provides long lasting protection to hewn hillsides.

Outstanding results are obtained by use of Retem 3D grid in erosion prevention. Spillways designed with 3D grid in all lengths and inclinations are built in a single

operation without using wood frames. Can be implemented in the most difficult soil and in the most extreme topography. Fast execution. Large waterways and narrow canals are being stabilized with 3D grid lining. Long-lasting and full protection. No requirements for skilled workers. Low cost of construction. Slopes of very steep inclination are easily treated. No maintenance cost.
