The Retail Lean System is a natural progression from the existing Lean principles

adopted in the manufacturing sector translated to FMCG retail. It offers the

functionality of a pallet through the entire supply chain from vendor all the way to

store back dock, with the dollies rolled off for simple roll-in merchandising or shelf

replenishment over multiple channels and SKU’s.

Combining the use of the Consolidator Pallet and the Dolly – the RLS

eliminates secondary handling and allows flexibility throughout the process.

The system was designed to integrate seamlessly with pallet based logistics,

facilities and MHE with the benefit of in-store roll-in or roll to shelf, significantly

reducing manual handling.

What is the Retail Lean System

The system has been designed around the standard 1165 x 1165 AU

footprint carrying the 1/12th AU Pallet format of 590mm x 385mm for a

variety of applications. The flat surface enables the operator to carry a

wide range of products – and is not limited to any one channel. Existing

fresh RPC’s, current and future CSD trays, current meat totes as

examples.

How does it work?
