Hiring and training referees so they can properly carry out the rules and regulations of each sport they ref. Setting up the equipment for each game and making sure every employee is aware of their responsibilities.

Safety responsibilities include: Overseeing each game, making sure a fun and safe environment is provided for the Keene State College students/faculty participating in the intramural sports league. Keene State provided me with certifications in both CPR and First Aid enabling me to making sure any participant that gets injured receives proper care.
