I have experienced working in varied corporate circumstances, most with

a great diversity of cultural backgrounds, for over 20 years.

At present I am working as an Creative Arts Teaching Assistant at the Australian International School (AIS) Jakarta-Indonesia (Primary campus.) I have worked at AIS for more than 8 years now. English is the language of instruction and is always used with all Teaching staff, students, the parents and other persons who are related to my work environment. My responsibilities include planning, organizing, explaining, and modifying teaching materials for students, giving tasks and instructing students in daily lessons. I also suggest and discuss the ideas of Art lesson plans with the Art teacher. Each task is given verbally or in writing and is always in English.I believe I am most competent in assisting the Head Art teacher in running

the class and I also take full responsibility of the teaching program during

her absence. I also feel that I am a dedicated, reliable and hard worker

and am able to work under pressure in a competent manner.

I have worked as an Assistant Teacher and as a Coordinator of Art and Craft at the National Montessori Preschool- Teuku Cik Ditiro, Menteng Jakarta-Indonesia.My active role in the Montessori school has given me plenty of experience

in dealing with young children /early childhood programs and people with

many different characters. I organized special school's performances and

events.

My first job after I graduated from college was working in Club Med

Resorts and my involvement for a year in Club Med Bali-Indonesia as Art

and Craft Instructor (GO's) - Entertainment Service was fulfilling. It has

contributed significantly to the development of my skills and expertise. My

creativity and English language developed greatly during my tenure in

Club Med.

I am someone who likes to learn and I am a fast learner about new things.

I believe it is positive to accept a challenge and most challenges are

definitely worth accomplishing. Given these challenges and my desire to

achieve, my passion is to work with children
