August 2014 – CurrentMain responsibilities:

Providing administrative support to the Director, National Director and Program Director in the Defence Estate Works Program. Duties include sitting in on meetings and taking minutes, setting up appointments/meetings, keeping various documents up to date, setting up new profiles for new staff members, ordering stationary supplies, keeping Defence base locations up to date and setting up task briefs for projects. At the end of every month ensuring disbursements and timesheets are recorded accurately, booking and maintaining travel for the team, reimbursement system kept up to date, online onboarding for new recruits, collating and writing teams CV’s in DTZ format; and keeping the team of 20 personnel (both locally based and regionally) informed at all times. Duties also include being the administrator for a National wide inbox and processing up to 80+ emails per day, this inbox is used for clients, other DTZ staff and stakeholders around Australia.

WORK EXPERIENCE/CONTRACTS

During June 2013, I travelled to Sydney for work experience with Ichor Constructions for a week. Hours were 9.00am-5.00pm and jobs consisted of Project Management related filing, working along side Project and Contract Managers, Administration, identifying specific parts on plans, tenders, Microsoft Project, Jobpac, sitting in meetings, GANNT charts, WHS overview, getting mentored by both directors and going on sites.

Additional work experience was with the two family hairdressers where customer service, answering phones, assisting, making appointments and washing hair of clients has been practiced from the age of 13 and current.

It is anticipated that with my experience, qualifications and commitment to customer service that I obtain a position within a top tiered commercial construction organisation within Canberra.
