I was an unpaid intern for Ken-Kor Consulting, an IT consulting firm that works with small

researching new technologies to put customers on the forefront of their industry. Student Assistant, Computer Services, McPherson College, McPherson, KS -

Skills

Upon completion of my MLS degree I believe I have gained a skill set and new technical

experience that can be an asset to your library. My job as a graduate assistant allowed me

to learn new forms of technology and train others to use it. One of my most useful strengths

is my ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users in a manner that is

easy to understand.

I have been given the opportunity to work on Digital Initiative projects which include the use

of Android Tablets in the library and the restructuring of Technical Support for the School of

Library and Information Management at Emporia State University. Working at Emporia State

University has allowed me to gain a more in-depth look at how to provide quality customer

service something that was introduced to me during my time as a IT consultant in Chicago.

Interests

My interests outside of school and work include bicycling, running, cooking, traveling, and

reading.
