Personal Statement My devotion to Landscape Architecture and Urban Design began with an eye-opening six month residency in London, England. Being accessible to many historic and contemporary urban green spaces inspired me to create similarly vibrant parks within urban areas and, through them, dynamic and livable cities. My work to date has been focused on design and preservaion in small integrated local projects. I seek a dynamic organization that will facilitate the accomplishments of my personal goals; offering a variety of green places for urban dwellers to engage with nature in their community and environments. Work Experience Worked collaboratively with clients and firm principals on residential and urban design projects, doing site and planting design, and construction documents Prepared project boards & PowerPoint, marketing materials, rfq/rfp submittals and master plan documents Attended client meetings and coordinated with Metro-Louisville Planning Department for project/plan approvals and participated in zoning hearings. BOOKER DESIGN COLLABORATIVE / URBAN 1, LLC - LOUISVILLE, KY. (2012 - 2014) ACCOUNT MANAGER Work with supervisors, project managers and consultants to prepare site and landscape plans for residential communities, country clubs, shopping centers and other public spaces. Actively bridges the landscape architecture and planning teams to create an appropriate landscape plan based on project goals and the stated program. Research local development codes to determine site and landscape plan requirements. Create illustrative site and landscape plans using AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
