During my time on Reel Deal I gained basic knowledge about working on sets, using green screen, and learned different technical aspects of operating a camera and teleprompter. Rebel Review, Indianapolis, IN Graphic Editor. September 2009- September 2011 The Rebel Review a high school newspaper publication I joined my sophomore year. Senior year I was promoted to graphic editor as well as co-editor of the newspaper staff. I helped transition the paper into a more creative outlet that appealed to the high school demographic. YMCA, Indianapolis, IN Summer Camp Counselor. September 2009- present This year will be my fourth year returning to the YMCA. I am responsible for the well-being and daily care of three through five year olds. My job includes providing first aid need, watching over the children at the pool, taking care of accidents, communicating with parents and the site director, and most importantly being a professional role model. I also open the camp doors in the early morning, so I am responsible for arriving on time and setting up for the full day of camp.
VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES: College Mentors for Kids, Muncie, IN College Mentor. September 2012- April 2012
College Mentors is a program in which I have a little buddy and we discuss their future plans as well as providing good examples for them in their present.
RELATED SKILLS: Adobe Software
I have been exposed and can use Adobe Photoshop and InDesign to create graphic content. I was self taught most of these skills and then taught them to my previous newspaper staff.
