The Current Situation
Ending the GenocideEngagement for peace. Appoint a high-profile, well-staffed envoy for Sudan and leverage executive staff expertise.
Civilian Protection. Ensure funding and logistical support for peacekeeping.
Justice and Accountability. Pursue targeted sanctions on those responsible for violence. Support the International Criminal Court’s investigations of crimes in Darfur.
What You Can Do
• Raise Funds. Support the AJWS Sudan Relief and Advocacy Fund.
• Raise Awareness. Educate and engage your community. Author an op-ed, letter to the editor or blog article. Give a presentation.
• Take Action. Help make Darfur a priority from Day One of Obama’s administration. Support justice for Darfur. Contact your elected officials. Divest yourself.
