Honoring KRISTINE CAZADD On Her Retirement WHEREAS, Ms. Kristine Cazadd, Executive Director, will retire on December 14, 2012, after twenty-two years of outstanding and meritorious service to the State of California and the State Board of Equalization; and WHEREAS, Ms. Kristine Cazadd began her career with the Fair Political Practices Commission on May 29, 1990, as Counsel Enforcement in the Fair Political Practices Commission; and WHEREAS, she joined the Board of Equalization on July 20, 1992, as an Attorney; and WHEREAS, as a result of diligent work and demonstrated ability, she advanced to positions of increasing responsibility, earning appointment to the positions of, Attorney III, and Tax Counsel III Specialist, later advancing to the positions of Tax Counsel III Supervisor, Assistant Chief Counsel, Chief Counsel II; and WHEREAS, in recognition of her outstanding leadership skills and proven professionalism, she was appointed to the position of Executive Director on October 1, 2011, and Special Consultant to the Executive Director on August 1, 2012; and WHEREAS, throughout her many years of service, Kristine Cazadd served the people of this state with fairness and dedication: Therefore be it RESOLVED, that we, the Members of the Board, do hereby extend to Kristine Cazadd our sincere and grateful appreciation for her dedicated service to the State Board of Equalization and to the State of California, our congratulations on her well- earned retirement, and our best wishes to her and her family for continued success, happiness, and good health in the years to come. Adopted at Sacramento, California, this nineteenth day of December 2012, by the State Board of Equalization.
