“happy

Times”

On Thursday, 10th November, 2016, a group of 57members enjoyed a trip around the Bay.

We started with a 48-seat coach, but we had to upgradeto a 57-seater as the demand was great with even membersbeing on the waiting list.

Members boarded the Dyson Coach from the carpark ofSt Joseph the Worker Church, North Reservoir, at 8.30 am.

We started the journey to Sorrento throughMornington Peninsula Freeway, arriving in Sorrento around10.30 am where Coach Captain, Alan Mahar, provided uswith morning tea/coffee and biscuits.

We boarded the Peninsula Sea Road Ferry around 11am, for the trip across Port Phillip Bay to Queenscliff.

We disembarked the Ferry at Queenscliff and we head-ed to Corio to the Gateway Hotel where we enjoyed freebuffet lunch and tried our luck in the gaming rooms.

Around 3 pm we boarded the coach again to make ourway back to Reservoir. Once again, Coach Captain, AlanMaharl, gave us an interesting commentary on sites we werepassing through.

We arrived in Reservoir around 4.30 pm.

Members told us they enjoyed this trip which was heav-ily subsidised by Reskeon Maltese Association SeniorsGroup by more than half the cost.

Secretary, Paul Vella, at the end of the trip thanked CoachCaptain, Alan Mahar, on behalf of the committee and mem-bers. Finally thanked all members who took part in this tripfor their behaviour and punctuality to board the coach ineach stop.
