Resizing Egg Cup

7) Click on the

lightbulbs next to

your circle

sketches in the

browser menu.

8) All the light

bulbs should now

be yellow and you

should see the

circles in your egg

cup.

In order to fit a larger egg into our egg cup we need to make the diameter of circle 3 and circle 4 larger.

First lets start with Circle 3:

9) Right click on

“Circle 3” then select

“Edit Sketch”

10) Your screen should

now look like this.

11) To view Circle 3 on it’s own, click on the lightbulbs

next to “Circle 1” and “Circle 2” in the browser menu.

12) Now circle 3 is the only sketch on your

screen

13) Double left click

on the “30” to change

the diameter

14) Type 40 into the

dimension box to

change the diameter

to 40mm. Then press

the enter.

15) Press the “STOP

SKETCH” button.

16) This is how your

egg cup should look

now.

Now we do the same for circle 4:

17) Right click “Circle

4” then select “Edit

Sketch”

18) Your screen

should now look like

this.

Note: If the dimension isn’t already there

hit “D” on your keyboard, then select the

edge of your circle and then hit enter.

19) To view circle 4 on it’s own turn the lightbulb off next to

“Circle 3”. Now you should only see circle 4 on your screen.

20) double

click on the

“44”, then

type 54 and

press enter

to change

the

diameter of

the circle

from 44mm

to 54mm

21) Finally click on the “STOP SKETCH”

button at the top of the screen.

You have finished! Your egg cup should

look like this.
