The coast is home to some of the most picturesque villages clinging precipitously to the cli�s – Staithes, Ruswick Bay, Robin Hood’s Bay and Ravenscar amongst them and yet only a short drive away from the park.

If you travel further South, the scenery o�ers the dramatic chalk cli�s of Flamborough, to the spectacular ocean views at Bempton with their seabirdcolonies and bird watching facilities. In Scarborough you can watch the local �sherman at work, go fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast, further a �eld you can take a smugglers tour around Robin Hood’s Bay.
