Location The subject site is situated in the well located village of Cowthorpe, North Yorkshire, within approximately 3 miles north of Tockwith, 5 miles of Wetherby, 10 miles east of Harrogate, 7 miles from Knaresborough and 13.5 miles from York. The well-regarded village benefits from a semi-rural location, with immediate proximity to the surrounding Yorkshire countryside as well as nearby to Knaresborough. Junction 46 of the A1 (M) is only 3.5 miles to the south west of the site, providing road links north and south, linking in with the national motorway network.
