The Market

Carpet Cleaning and Hard Floor maintenance can be broadly broken down into two market sectors, Residential and Property Letting Agents.

Residential

The Residential market is strong and loyal. Often people only have their carpets professionally cleaned in an emergency or when they are moving out of or in to a property. However, the desire to have carpets cleaned is always high hence you see many chain DIY stores offering carpet machines for hire.

Ask nearly anyone who has hired one and they will tell you that it was a great deal of effort and the results were very poor. They rarely do it again.

The PROCHEM equipment you will be using is approximately six times more expensive than a typical hire machine and correspondingly more powerful. This combined with commercial strength chemicals and the technical training you will receive makes the end result 10 times better.

Virtually every home in the UK has carpets and the trend on flooring is moving away from hard floor laminates to carpets once again, increasing its potential further.

This market responds well to pro-active marketing i.e. Yellow Page advertising, adwords and door to door leaflet drops etc. Do a good job and your clients become your best sales agents.

Property Letting Agents

Your designated territory, combined with the use of our proven marketing and cleaning techniques, has the potential to return high earnings in the residential sector alone. However, if you want to truly push your business forward you will also need to turn your attention to this market.

For obvious reasons, these cleans are largely undertaken at short notice so you will need to be prepared for this. On the plus side they are generally quite lucrative and even minor jobs will earn you additional revenue.

Unlike residential cleaning, you will have to wait to get paid, anywhere between 30-45 days is typical.

Remember, your franchise agreement also extends to Hard Floor maintenance and this will become an ever growing part of your business. There is nothing more satisfying than taking a linoleum or laminate floor that looks terrible, acid stripping it, drying and then re-sealing it.

The results of both carpet and hard floor maintenance are spectacular and will significantly increase the life expectancy of the flooring, making it very cost effective for the client.

Invest in Quality

The initial franchise fee of £12,950 + VAT is an investment in your entire business package which includes a Van, Specialist Equipment, Internet website and back office systems and your local launch Marketing budget. Your on-going support fees are fixed at £125 + VAT per month, irrespective of your growing turnover.
