There have been a number of doors
found damaged around MB.
The cause of this damage seems to be
chocking doors open. This is
putting pressure on the lower part of the
door, warping the door and tearing the
hinges from the timber.
The cost of replacing a door and frame
can be in excess of $1,000.
Due to this damage, any studio/shared
apartment/unit where the doors are
found to be damaged due to chocking
the door open will be responsible for paying the replacement cost.
If you wish to keep your apartment secure and do not wish to be charged
for replacing a door, please do not chock the door open at any time.
Please carry your swipe card with you at all times to avoid chocking the
door.
Be the first to come to Resi Reception and
answer the below question correctly and

If the rubbish and recycling in your
apartment is getting full, please do not
wait until the cleaners next visit.
Please take responsibility for the
cleanliness of your own apartment by
disposing of rubbish/recycling yourself
in the appropriate chutes on your level.
Under no circumstances should rubbish or recycling ever be left on the floor
underneath the chutes on any level at
MB.
If your rubbish is too big to fit in the
chute, please bring it down to reception
and our staff member can give you
direct access to the bin room.
Leaving rubbish in front of the chutes is unhygienic and creates an unpleasant
smell in the corridors.
Please be respectful to other residents and do not leave rubbish in front of
the bin chutes.
