    The legal research report is the statement thatcontains in brief the procedure adopted and the

    findings arrived at by the researcher of a legalproblem.

    According to American Marketing Society, thepurpose of a report is, to convey to the interestedpersons the whole result of the study in sufficientdetail and so arrange as to enable each reader tocomprehend the data and so determine for himself the

    y It is customary that to conclude the research reportwith a very brief summary

    y More widely read so it should be clear and concise

    y It includes a brief restatement of the problem(s), themain features of the methods, and the mostimportant findings

    y The researcher briefly reviews the procedures,findings and entire development of the study

    y The conclusions are stated precisely and relateddirectly to the hypothesis that were tested. The

    conclusions announce whether the findings of thestudy confirmed or disconfirmrd the hypotheses

    y Result and Conclusions: Result is direct

    observation, conclusion is an inferance based onresults

    y The Researcher may include briefly his ideas onthe implications of his findings and hisrecomendations for possible application of the

    y He may also suggest any new questions forresearch that grew out of his study
