Research Awards Increases in awarded dollars from FY 2009 to FY 2012 reflect the additional funding available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). After a return to pre-ARRA levels in FY 2013, UCLA researchers were responsible for 5,554 awarded transactions surpassing $1 Billion for the second consecutive year in FY 2016.
