more than $36 million in
sponsored awards last year.
Adele Quieroz, Assistant Professor of Management, was recently honored at the national meeting of
the Academy of Management, winning the 2008 Best Dissertation Award from the Social Issues in Management (SIM) Division.
The Center for Social and Behavioral Research at the University of
Northern Iowa (UNI) has been conducting
applied survey research since 1967.

Innovator, one of 14 projects chosen from more than 300
submissions nationwide. Edu-Grid, his project, is an
educational high-performance computing environment that supports HPC instruction and curriculum development.
Christopher W. Larimer, Political Science, co-authored an article that appears in the February
issue of American Political Science Review
Mary DeSoto and Robert Hitlan, Psychology,
researched data linking mercury levels to autism and were published in the November edition of the
Journal of Child Neurology…
