CREATING THE EXECUTIVE AND WORKING COMMITIEES IN SUPPORT TO THE CONDUCT OF

THE 13TH NATIONAL MANGO CONGRESS TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 28-30, 2011 AT

ISLA JARDIN DEL MAR RESORT, GUMASA, GlAN, SARANGANI PROVINCE

WHEREAS, Section 91 of Department of Agriculture Administrative Order #6 (RA 8435) states

that the government shaH encourage the participation of farmers and fisher folks, cooperatives

and associations and other private sector in agricultural and fisheries development;

WHEREAS, Sarangani Province has bid to host the 13th National Mango Congress to be held on

September 28-30, 2011;

WHEREAS, as stated in the Resolution No. 01-A of Philippine Mango Industry Foundation, Inc.

(PMIFI), "WHEREFORE, PREMISES CONSIDERED, it is hereby RESOLVED that the PhjJjppine

Mango Industry, Foundation, Inc. has accepted and approved the bid of the Sarangani

Foundation oj Fruits Industry Associations /SAFFIA),. Inc". represented by its President Fred L.

Dumasis of Maitum, Sarangani Province under the umbrella of SOCCSKSARGEN MANGO

INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL to host the 13th National Mango Congress on September

28-30,2011, that the member orgonizotionsjoJJow thejormot, terms and conditions set by the Foundation,/I ;

WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Agreement between PMlFI and SAFFIA was signed to bind

themselves to their respective duties and responsibilities in the conduct of the 13th Nati<;mal

Mango Congress;

WHEREAS, it is also the desire of the Provincial Government to strengthen and empower all

peoples' organizations like SAFFIA to pursue economic development activities in support to all

investment promotion and sustainable tourism, agriculture and fishery sectors;

WHEREAS, there is a need to create the executive and working committees to coordinate and

manage activities of the event to ensure its success;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, MIGUEL RENE A. DOMINGUEZ, Provincial Governor of Sarangani

Province, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create the Provincial

Executive and Working Committees in support to the 13th National Mango Congress which

shall be composed of the following:
