standards of the Georgia Quality Core Curriculum. The first column lists thestrand number, the second column presents the content standard, the nextcolumn lists the topic (listening, speaking, grammar, writing, literature,etc.), the next column notes the concept covered by the standard, and thelast column makes space available for notes. The standards in the paper aredivided first by grade level (individually from kindergarten through grade 8,then grades 9-12 combined) and further divided within grade levels, whereappropriate, into sections such as oral communication, written communication,reading, speaking, literature, grammar and usage, journalism, and listening.(RS)
