In the opening of our film we see a smartly dressed business women. This is a modern representation of women. However the eary music and dark lighting gives the women a more venerable view this is more traditional. It is also common to see a women as the protagonist in horror movies.However, we also see a young child

who is recognised as the antagonist this challenges the conventions of many films as the antagonist is commonly seen as a male character.

Here shows a male character playing a security guard. This shows males to be hard working and strong. This is a traditional representation of males.

However, the fact that action on the CCTV is going on and the security guard has not noticed makes him seem less hard working. This represents modern day men to be slob's.

The dim light helps create a good horror effect and helps the scene seem more eary and mysterious.

The High angle shot makes the women look venerable and in danger.

The books and desk let the audience know that the character is in a working environment however the dim lights suggest it is the end of the day. (night time)

The women's red dress has connotations to danger, or blood which both have connotations to death. This also helps make the horror.

The women's costume suggests she is a business women we also felt it fits with her surroundings.

In this scene the women is focusing on her work this represents her as a serious business women. It also shows she is venerable in her surroundings as she is unaware of anything else going on around her.

In this scene the camera pans up from the bottom of the window and peers threw. This suggests to the audience someone is watching her.

The laptop also helps represent the women as a hard worker and smart.

The dim lights once again help set the ‘horror’ scene and helps emphasise the music and shot type as also being horror like.
