116501 Muonium as a model for interstitial hydrogen in the semiconducting and semimetallic elementsS F J Cox
Summary: Although the interstitial hydrogen atom would seem to be one of the simplest defect centres in anylattice, its solid state chemistry is in fact unknown in many materials, not least amongst the elements. Thisarticle charts the contribution made to this subject by studies, not of the hydrogen defect centres themselves, butof their muonium counterparts, and specifically documents the progress of muon spin rotation, resonance andrelaxation (µSR) studies for all the semiconductors and semimetals of the p-block elements, Groups III–VI.
