Professionalism 1. Phone Etiquette

Be present. Embrace the awkward. Your phone can wait.

2. “I” Statements

Speak from YOUR experience. Focus on your beliefs, thoughts, and feelings rather than speaking for or attributing thoughts, beliefs, or feelings on behalf of or for someone else.

3. Participate

Be at the table, your voice, thoughts, ideas matter and are valued.

4. Be a Better Listener than a Speaker

5. Communicate

Communication is easy today, we have access to so many different venues to in which to do it. If you know you will be late with a deadline, can’t make an event, have a question, let the other person know.

6. Bring Solutions, Not Problems
