Monday, December 11th
08:00 Learning session for pupils: students learn about the Olympic traditions by attending
presentation prepared by the Lithuanian school
10:00 Opening ceremony of the Mock Erasmus Olympic Games 2017
‘The Olympic Parade’ – students follow the tradition of the Olympics. Pupils from every school present
their country and school, they introduce themselves.
Pupils light the Olympic torch – symbolic sign of opening the partnership which relates to sport.
This activity’s added value: cultivating European traditions/ awakening sense of belonging to the wider
European community

Tuesday, December 12th
08:00 Students attend the first two lessons – integration in the local school community (they present
their schools, towns/cities and themselves)
10:00 Sports activities in the gym
11:30 Visit of Prienai Sports Centre. Participation in the training session of the local basketball team.
14:00 Lunch at the school canteen.
14:30 Olympic Quiz
Students cooperate in international teams. Their knowledge about the Olympics Games, their history
and roots is tested in the interactive quiz prepared by the host school.

16:30 Teachers’ meeting
*Teaching/training sessions for teachers: Portugal ‘ICT in evaluation. Methods and Tools’ – Portuguese
teachers will show new approaches to project assessment and student assessment in the classroom.
The activities’ added value: to expand teachers’ knowledge on the European education systems (their
advantages and drawbacks)/ sharing successful solutions at school with the intention of implementing
them into domestic schools.

Wednesday, December 13th
08:00 ‘Hall of Fame’ compilation
Pupils are divided into 6 international groups (every group includes one pupil from a given country).
They learn how to prepare the entries for the ‘Hall of Fame’ – according to the templates prepared by
the Polish school.
10:00 Trip to Kaunas. Visit of the Sports museum – sport heritage of the hosting country; its Olympic,
world and European achievements.
14:30 Guided visit of the War museum and Art museum – acquainting partner schools with the cultural
heritage of the hosting country

17:30 Teachers’ meeting
*Teaching/training sessions for teachers:
Spain ‘School’s cooperation with external parties’ – Spanish teachers will explain and provide good
practices of successful cooperation with sports centers, medical/health care institutions
The activities’ added value: to expand teachers’ knowledge on the European education systems (their
advantages and drawbacks)/ sharing successful solutions at school with the intention of implementing
them into domestic schools.

The Olympic Games in Ancient Greece – pupils will have a chance to practise different sports which
were practised in ancient Greece and nowadays

07:45 Trip to Trakai, a historical capital of Lithuania – ‘Sharing the roots and finding common European
heritage’
09:30 Workshops in the chocolate factory – nutritional value of chocolate and its role in proper diet
11:30 Lunch.
13:30 Guided trip of Vilnius Old Town – – acquainting partner schools with the cultural heritage of the
hosting country
