Report on Independence Day Celebration-2017 It was heartening to see children apply themselves with much zeal and zest to the Independence Day celebration. Their participation in March Pasts and cultural activities on the 71 st Independence Day revealed their enthusiasm. National Public School, Kengeri, celebrated the Independence Day on 15 th August 2017 with a lot of gusto. The Independence Day was flagged off with the hoisting of National Flag by the guest Shri. K.V. Nagaraj Murthy along with the secretary Ms Divya B.S and the Principal Mrs Geeta Dikshit. The entire school was festooned with colours of the Indian flag. The corridors were decorated with various works of art by students. The excitement however did not subdue but the entire school thronged in with extremely high patriotic fervour with the commencement of cultural programmes. The senior choir left the gathering mesmerized with their beautiful harmony, followed by the dances by students of Grade-X depicting the love for the nation. The chief guest, Shri. K.V. Nagaraj Murthy addressing the gathering said, “India a land of cultural heritage has undergone lots of turmoil in the past 7 decades of our independence, yet the highest ethic of Unity in Diversity is prevailing among the citizens of the nation.” The celebration concluded with a speech by Mrs Anju Saxena on the significance of the day. The entire programme had an essence of patriotism and avidity. ******

Report on Independence Day Celebration-2017

It was heartening to see children apply themselves with much zeal and zest

to the Independence Day celebration. Their participation in March Pasts

and cultural activities on the 71st Independence Day revealed their

enthusiasm.
