REPORT OF TREE PLANTATION PROGRAMME BY NSS UNIT OF BITS EDU CAMPUS

The National Service Scheme Unit (NSS) of BITS edu campus (BIP) organized a Tree Plantation Programme for the development of “NSS MEDICINAL GARDEN”, in the college premises on April 17, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. NSS candidates identified appropriate place for plantation of Herbal Drug plants and prepared it for plantation. They also made the identification card of the plants and NSS candidates also commited themselves to nourish and maintain the allocated plant.

All 50 NSS candidates have taken part in this programme. The Faculty of Pharmacognosy of BIP were also present for providing the guidance about plantation.
