• This has been speeded up with employment of the Trust Interim Lawyer

• Working through issues takes time - Term Raupatu, Te Poho o Tutawake,

• NB the lawyer has suggested an alteration of the terms for the initial Trustees from 1 year to 2 from the time Trust is mandated

Mandating Hui• Stage 2 Funding Round

• 12 hui – Christchurch, Nelson, Wellington,Greytown, Masterton, Dannevirke,

Mangakino, Palmerston North, Rotorua Hastings/Napier, Hamilton, Auckland

Whakapapa Research Team• NKKWTNAR Trust has written an engagement Policy

with Rangitane• OTS were so impressed that they had the two Trust

meet in Wellington at their office and all Trustees present signed the policy

• We asked them to keep it low key as we needed to;- tell our people first- deal with our own issues - get a mandate from the people
