    3.1"afety

    Construction sites can be a very dangerous environment to be in with

    many opportunities for injury or fatality. With high voltage areas, debris

    and heavy equipment in the area, its important to ma!e sure that

    construction wor!ers and anyone in or near the construction site are

    made aware of the.

    Segregation can be defined as the separation of the constituent materials of

    concrete% A good concrete is one in "hich all the ingredients are properly

    distributed to ma,e a homogeneous mi2ture% 3here are considerable differencesin the si6es and specific gravities of the constituent ingredients of concrete%

    3herefore! it is natural that the materials sho" a tendency to fall apart%

    Segregation may be of three types
