Group Bike Rides to the Park Ride your bike to the park and utilize the Reno Bike

Projects Bike Valet, or donate unwanted bikes at Kiwanis Bike Drop off at Reno High.

Live Animals and Education From pet adoptions, a reptile petting zoo and farm animals to organizations educating on endangered species and local

wildlife.

Featuring a Farmer’s Market Focus on green growth, plants of

all kinds and local farming. Including a Farmer's Market,

promoting sustainable agriculture in our community!

World Culture and Education International Bazaar with its own performance stage and

organizations working to solve issues across the entire

planet.

Hosting a Science Fair Kids of all ages are invited to

create special projects and showcase their creative,

scientific talents related to Earth Day education.

Electric Vehicle Show Hosts greener modes of transportation and new

technologies, electric vehicles, bicycles, and creative

demonstrations.

Health, Fitness and Beauty Spiritual, Artistic and Holistic

services in a tranquil spa environment. Natural health

and beauty, massages, healing and organic teas.

Celebrating Reno-Tahoe This is one of the best outdoor recreational expanses in the region! Showcasing some of the amazing things to do in the area with rock climbing

and river walks.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Northern Nevada is the event’s official Non-Profit Partner for the year! Save you gently used clothing and household items for them! There will be a convenient drop off point off Idlewild Dr. in the loop in front of the pool. Or just bring it by the BBBSNN booth on the south side of the event. There you can also learn about the “Bigs and Littles.” Maybe YOU would like to volunteer to become a BIG – a mentor for a child in our community. See all of BBBSNN programs at www.bbbsnn.org.

ComputerCorps will also be accepting used bicycle donations for the Kiwanis Bike Program! Their drop off trailer will be located at the Reno High School parking lot and Kiwanis will be at Idlewild Park for minor bike repairs!

PET Adoptions – And don’t forget to bring your LOVE! Nevada Humane Society will have dogs, cats and other critters up for adoption. Adoption shouldn’t be decided on a whim, so plan ahead and then visit Animalia at Earth Day to give a forever home to a pet who will adore you. Several other rescue groups for particular breeds and species will also be there.
