AND INSTALLERS. USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ACCESS EV (ELECTRONIC VERSION) OF THIS PLAN AS STATED ON THE DRAWING. ACTIVE
HYPERLINKS ON EV PROVIDE EASY ACCESS TO SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION. EV ALSO ALLOWS VIEWER TO STUDY THE PLAN AND OEM

FRAMING BY 3-INCH LONG, MINIMUM 5/16-INCH DIAMETER CORROSION RESISTANT STEEL LAG BOLTS. HOLD-DOWNS SHALL BE SPACED
CENTER-TO-CENTER NOT GREATER THAN (NGT) 6-FT IN PZ1, NGT 4-FT IN PZ2, NGT 2-FT IN PZ3. ADJUST SPACING +- TO HIT FRAMING.
PRESSURE ZONE (PZ) #2 WIDTH IS 4-FT. PV ARRAY TO BE INSTALLED PRIMARILY WITHIN PZ1. THERE SHALL BE TWO PIECES OF SPECIFIED
RACKING UNDER EACH PV MODULE. THE PV MODULES SHALL BE INSTALLED IN THE NUMBER OF PARALLEL STRINGS AND NUMBER OF SERIES PV
MODULES IN EACH STRING AS DEPICTED IN THE ELECTRICAL LAYOUT OF THIS SUBMITTAL.
PV MODULES SHALL BE CLAMPED TO RAILS AT EACH CROSSING POINT. THERE SHALL BE FOUR CLAMPS HOLDING EACH MODULE TO THE RAILS.
THESE SHALL BE PAIRED OPPOSITES. ADJACENT MODULES MAY SHARE CLAMPS. PV MODULES MAY BE ORIENTED “LANDSCAPE” OR “PORTRAIT”
AT THE CONTRACTOR'S OPTION.
WATER-PROOFING: A GENEROUS PUDDLE OF FLORIDA NOA/PCA LISTED ROOFING SEALANT BETWEEN RACK MOUNTING “FEET” AND ROOF
COVERING AT EACH ATTACHMENT POINT IS ADEQUATE. HOWEVER, CONTRACTOR IS FREE (SUBJECT TO AHJ) TO SELECT ALTERNATE
WATERPROOFING MEANS AND METHODS FROM NRCA (NATIONAL ROOFING CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION) ROOFING & WATERPROOFING
MANUAL, OR OEM INSTALLATION DETAILS, OR OTHER APPROPRIATE SOURCES.
