The spare parts warehouse reception desk is a set of units that serves as an interface between the customer and the warehouse attendant. It reflects the Brand image in the same way as the After-Sales Reception.Depending on how it is used, the modular nature of the unit allows it to accommodate staff standing up or sitting down. A package hatch unit is provided for handling heavy spare parts. Plenty of secure storage is provided.

There is only one version of the spare parts ware-house reception desk, which is composed of a mini-mum of four modules:1 Stand-up reception module2 Sit-down workstation module3 Package hatch module4 Storage module

The desk comprises four independent modules.Depending on the configuration of the site and the number of warehouse staff, the stand-up reception module, sit-down workstation module and storage can be doubled.

1. Présentation.

La banque est composée de 4 modules autonomes. En fonction de la configuration de l‛affaire et du nombre de réceptionnaires, les module accueil debout, poste de travail assis et rangement peuvent être doublés.

1 Stand-up reception module

This must be equipped with two cable pass-throughs (in aluminium grey zamak, as for the after-sales and reception modules) on the right and left of the counter.

The coating of the counter is identical to that of the after-sales, dealer and reception desk.2 Sit-down workstation module with

additional counter

The plinth of the additional counter must be made from epoxy-painted steel sheet. In its left or right version, the counter must be symmetri-cal. The counter must be equipped with a cable pass-through (in aluminium grey zamak, as for the after-sales and reception modules) with an outlet on the counter. The coating of the coun-ter is identical to that of the after-sales, dealer and reception desk. It is equipped with one cable pass-through in the middle.3 Package hatch module

The coating of the sides and counter must be able to withstand heavy loads and allow the passage of steel parts. Pirelli-type PVC, brushed stainless steel or Corian-type synthetic resin may be used for this purpose.

The hatch must be equipped with a roller at the back to facilitate the passage of packages and parts.

At the front, the edges are rounded.

The drawers at the back are equipped with locks.4 Storage module

This must be equipped with two cable pass-throughs (in aluminium grey zamak, as for the after-sales and reception modules) on the right and left of the counter.

The drawers are equipped with locks. On the front, there is a bag-holder. The coating of the counter is identical to that of the after-sales, dealer and reception desk. All the bag-holders on this module must be able to support a heavier weight (e.g. a spare part) than those on the other modules.

Accessories and fixingsThe drawer is opened from the side (bevelled handles). The user can open the drawer while sea-ted at their workstation, with one hand, with the force remaining less than 5 daN. The runners must glide at a speed that ensures the user remains safe at the end of travel. An interchangeable cylin-der lock, type HAFELE Symo 3000, HUWIL VCS or equivalent (it must be possible to equip the whole unit with the locking system selected), provides central locking of the three drawers. The lock is always fitted on the same side. The unit is supplied with four bolts to connect it to the adjacent unit.

Connection to groundThe whole unit is placed on the ground. The loaded unit + 100 kg must exert a force of less than 3 MPa (0.3 kg/mm²) on the ground. Its stability must not be put at risk by open loaded drawers (EN 14073-3). The height-adjustable feet allow fine adjust-ment of the horizontal position of adjacent compo-nents.

AssemblyAttention: the counters vary depending on how the modules are combined; they are not dealt with in this section. There are intermediate counters, and end counters to connect to the side.Attention: There are two models of front panel to comply with the variable dimensions of the re-cessed joints (1330 mm wide and 1600 mm wide); they are not dealt with in this section.On the visitor side, the front panel is attached to the body of the unit using a system that enables it to be removed.The drawer fronts must be adjustable; final adjust-ment and alignment takes place during instal-lation. The space behind and under the cabinet module allows the ordered routing of power cables, and in particular the separation of high and low currents. The cables must never be in contact with a moving part. Cables are routed between the base of the unit and the top via a recessed 49 x 12 mm plastic raceway fastened to the unit sides (type LMC PRO1063NO or similar). The metal bases for the desks are precut to allow the routing of cables between two adjacent desks.Four bolts are used to connect two units.

6) Accessories and hardware

The drawer is opened from the side by means of bevelled handles. The user can open it sitting down with one hand. The effort remains less than 5 daN. At the end of travel, depending on the speed allowed by the slide rails, the user's safety must be guaranteed. An interchangeable barrel lock, such as Symo 3000 HAFELE, VCS from HUWILL or equivalent (the selected locking system must be fitted to all the furnishings) provides central locking of the 3 drawers. It is always mounted from the same side. The unit is supplied with 4 connecting screws to attach it to the neighbouring unit.

7) Rollers and feet

The entire unit is placed on the ground. The loaded unit + 100 kg must exert a ground pressure less than 3Mpa (0.3 kg/mm²). Stability must not be jeopardised when all drawers are open and loaded (EN 14073-3). The adjustable cylinders allow the horizontality of the assembled elements to be adjusted perfectly.

8) Assembly

Important note: desks are different and are adapted to the rest of the module and are not covered in this sub-chapter. There are end desks to be connected to the run-off and intermediate desks.

Note: There are two front units, in order to comply with the variable size of the hollow joints (widths of 1330 mm and 1600 mm) and are not covered in this sub-chapter.

The front of the unit, on the visitor side, is connected to the body via a stripping system.
