Clio  172  –  Introduced  in  2001  

Specification  includes:  

• Xenons  • Half  Leather  Seats  • Climate  Control  • Optional  Sat  Nav  

Available  in  the  following  colours:  

• Monaco  Blue  (432)  • Iceburg  Silver  (640)  • Pearl  Black  (676)  • Flame  Red  (B76)  

From  2002  traction  control  was  introduced    

From  2003  cruise  control  was  introduced  

There  is  no  such  thing  as  a  Full  Fat  or  FF  Clio  172

Clio  172  Cup  –  Introduced  in  2002  

Specification  includes:  

• No  Xenons  –  (therefore  lack  of  light  washers,  instead  replaced  by  blanking  caps)  

• Cloth  Seats  • No  ABS  • Manual  air  conditioning  an  option  • Lower,  firmer  suspension  and  wider  track  • Front  Splitter  • Larger  Cup  Spoiler  (below)

Clio  182  –  Introduced  in  2004  

Specification  includes:  

• Xenons  • Half  Leather  Seats  • Climate  Control  +  Traction  Control  +  Cruise  Control  • Distinctive  twin  exhaust  system  • Optional  Sat  Nav  • Optional  Recaro  Seats  • Optional  Racing  Stripes  (Racing  Blue  only)  • Optional  Cup  Packs  (see  below)  

The  cup  packs:  

1)  Spoiler  Pack  –  Includes  front  splitter  and  cup  spoiler  as  per  the  172  cup

2)  Suspension  Pack  –  Includes  anthracite  alloy  wheels  rather  than  silver,  lower  firmer  suspension  and  a  wider  track.      

ONLY  if  a  182  contains  both  cup  packs  it  can  be  referred  to  as  FF  or  Full  Fat

Available  in  the  following  colours:  

• Inferno  (D38)  • Racing  Blue  (J45)  

Unlike  the  172  cup,  the  182  cup  retains  ABS,  combined  with  the  fact  Air  Conditioning  is  also  present  there  is  no  noticeable  gains  from  the  model  over  a  normal  182  other  than  it  is  cheaper.
