User Interface

Visual part of computer application and operating system through

which user interacts with a computer or a software/hardware like

mouse, keyboard, screen, desktop appearance and help

messages etc.

Determines how information is displayed on the screen.

Icon

An icon is a small graphical representation of a program or file that, whenclicked on, will be run or opened. Icons are used with Graphical UserInterface operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows andthe Apple Mac OS, to help quickly identify a type of file or programassociated with the icon.

To quickly rename a file/icon, press F2 button on the keyboard.

Remote Desktop Connection

With Remote Desktop Connection, you can sit at a PC and connect

to another PC in a different location (the remote PC). For example,

you can sit at your home PC and connect to your work PC, and use

all of your apps, files, and network resources as if you were sitting right

in front of your work PC.

Firstly we need to enable the remote desktop connection in your

windows.

Go to Start Computer Properties Change Settings

Right Click

Go to System Properties

Dialogue Box --- Remote

Changing Windows Firewall Settings to Allow Remote Desktop Access

Go to Windows Firewall in order to

allow Remote Access

Change Settings

Tick the Remote Desktop Option

Click OK at the End

Getting Static Internal IP Address

Give your Computer which you want to control, a Static IP

Address

Again Go To Control Panel

Go to Network and Sharing Center

Left Click on LAN/ Ethernet to get the Properties

Click on TCP/IPv4

Copy the IP Address of the Target computer

Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Remote Desktop Connection

Now Copy the Address
