Shooting Discipline: Smallbore Rifle, High Power Service Rifle, International Air Pistol, Trap Shooting

Shooting Experience: From the age of 10-14, I participated in Citizen’s Rifle and Revolver Club’s junior rifle marksmanship program. I developed my marksmanship skills enough to join the club’s Junior Smallbore Rifle Team. Through 2012-2014, we won the NRA Junior Club Smallbore Rifle Team Postal 4-P Matches three times and the 3-P Matches twice. My teammates and I became a Junior National Record Team in Outdoor Conventional Position with Metallic Sights in a 120 shot, 50 yard 3-P smallbore rifle match. I also compete in high power service rifle, international air pistol, and participate in CRRC’s Jr. trap shooting program. In high power rifle, I have competed at the CMP National Matches at Camp Perry, Ohio (2012-2015) and have earned 10 EIC-Points from the 2015 National Trophy Individual Match. I won the 2014 NJ State High Power Rifle State Championship in the Sharpshooter Division. I earned the Silver Medal in the 2012 USA Shooting Postal Preliminary Try-Outs for the Junior Olympics for International Air Pistol. I have earned Distinguished Expert in the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Program for smallbore rifle, high power rifle, and international air pistol and am working on earning Expert in trap shooting. I am a NRA Apprentice Pistol Instructor and have helped teach NRA courses at CRRC and I instruct my Boy Scout troop on firearm safety and marksmanship before our annual shooting/camping trip. When not shooting in competitions, I like spending my time hunting a variety of game species with shotguns, muzzleloaders, rifles, and bow and arrows.

Hobbies: • Shooting • Woodcarving • Building firearms • Hiking • Hunting (deer, waterfowl, • Canoeing turkey, and coyotes/foxes) • Fishing

Future Plans: I am going to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and become a research engineer in firearm design. I also plan to start competing in long range precision rifle matches.

The BNYSSA offers youth cash awards, camaraderie, travel, introductions to national shooting sports celebrities and career opportunities.
